We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, usually from 7pm onwards. March’s meeting includes our AGM.
September to June: at the Friends Meeting House at 59 Wandsworth High Street SW18 2PT followed by a social gathering up the road in the Brewers Inn.
July and August: an alternate Wandsworth Pub, agreed on by the group and published below.

Richmond Park Night Ride.
Post Olympic Closing Ceremony Ride
Date: 12th August
Easy 20-mile circular night ride through traffic-free Royal Park in west London. This ride has been running for many years. Just imagine riding through unlit suburban country with no cars and just wild deer roaming about.
Clapham Junction Station lower foyer 10pm. Ride to Putney town station for 10.30pm meet- up. Ride to Roehampton Gate for 11pm meeting and intro talk on riding in park. Ride clockwise around road and centre path, past Royal Ballet School, through Ham Common finishing at Ham House foot ferry slipway at c11.30pm for picnic and drink. Ride back to Wandsworth through Richmond and Putney.
Bring: lights, food for picnic, drink, (warm clothes if chilly or wet or not if it’s balmy) and a spare inner tube, cycle repair kit, musical instrument (optional) and a sense of humour.
Surrey and Sussex Meander
Train-assisted ride down country lanes.

Distance: approx 30 miles
Meet at: Clapham Junction Station lower ticket office foyer. Train to Effingham Junction.
Route: Effingham, Ranmore Common, Polesden Lacey, Burrows Wood, Dunley Wood, Deerleap Wood, Abinger Common, Walliswood, Rowhook, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, to Christ’s Hospital Station or Haywards Heath via Mannings Heath, Slaugham, Cuckfield and Haywards Heath. Train back to Clapham Junction.
West Sussex Meander
Train-assisted ride down country lanes.

Distance: approx 30 miles.
Meet at: Clapham Junction Station lower ticket office foyer. Train to Haywards Heath.
Route: Haywards Heath, Cuckfield, Slough Green, Warninglid, Walhurst Manor, Frithknowle Cowfold, Partridge Green, Ashurst Pick, South Downs Link to Henfield and Steyning, Bramber, Upper Beeding, Small Dole, Horton Hall, Edburton, Fulking, Poynings, Hurstpierpoint, Goddards Green, Ansty, Whitemans Green, Cuckfield, Borde Hall for tea, and Haywards Heath. Train back to Clapham Junction.
Spooky Chislehurst Caves Ride

Distance: approx 25 miles
Meet at: Battersea Park Peace Pagoda
Route: Battersea Park, Battersea riverside, Wandsworth Common, Balham, Tooting Bec Common, Streatham Hill, Tulse Hill, West Dulwich, Dulwich Common, Sydenham, Crystal Palace, Penge, New Beckenham, Ravensbourne, Sundridge Park, Chislehurst Caves. Return by same route or by train from Chislehurst Station via London Bridge.
